I WRITE to sincerely thank the staff at council who were working yesterday (Friday).
By going above and beyond their duty, they connected me with a caller, which led to me identifying my missing kitten who had been gone for 30 hours in heat.
Stuck in a tree, they realised this was possibly my kitten and contacted me, no doubt saving her from heat stroke and most likely death due to our severe heatwave which started today.
People like this are heroes of everyday life.
My heart felt thanks.
