Fixing water crisis involves one simple act

START listening to locals.

In 2025 I will work to ensure those of us in regional Australia are clearly heard, and will never be ignored again.

For the last two decades we have watched self-interested politicians and clueless, often ideological academics ruin our rivers.

This must end.

In 2025, control of our river must be taken back by the people whose lives and livelihoods depend on the sensible flow of our precious natural resource.

I have noticed a change in water politics in 2024.

For the first time in a long time, the politicians and the desk-bound academics are starting to privately admit that their strategies aren’t working and maybe they don’t really know what they’re doing.

I can assure you, as far as I’m concerned they don’t.

So in 2025, the people of rural New South Wales need to insist that we take back the running of our rivers once and for all.

We know what’s best for rural and all Australians who rely on the things we produce.

2025 must be the year things start flowing our way.
