Glen Walker birdied the par four 13th, which has a temporary kikuyu green in front of the normal green, so putts can go anywhere. Then on the par four 15th, Bill Slee played a 100 metre-plus shot off the fairway that rolled onto the green and then straight in to the hole for an eagle, which won him the eagles nest.

Winner on the day was Pete Trevathan with net 76 followed by Bill Slee on net 78, while Glen Walker took home Mr Risky with net 82.
