FROM a single-trestle street stall on the front lawns of Trinity Lutheran College, the Deutschfest has grown to cater to thousands of people each year.
The annual event has again proven just how popular it is, with almost $80,000 raised on Saturday with an estimated 8000 people in attendance.
Deutschfest co-ordinator Andrea Robinson said it was amazing how far the once small school event has grown.
