Slow going for train to Melbourne

PASSENGER trains on the Swan Hill line will run at slower speeds for four months at some sections to allow newly installed infrastructure to bed down.

There will be changes to arrival and departure times between Monday, June 26, and Thursday, October 19.

V/Line said the changes were:

• The 6.54am and 1.35pm weekday services from Swan Hill to Southern Cross will depart three minutes earlier.

• The 7.39am and 6.08pm weekday services from Southern Cross to Swan Hill will arrive three minutes later.

• The 6.54am and 1.35pm Saturday services from Swan Hill to Southern Cross will depart three minutes earlier.

• The 6.54am and 4.36pm Sunday services from Swan Hill to Southern Cross will depart three minutes earlier.

• The 7.40am and 6.43pm weekend services from Southern Cross to Swan Hill will arrive three minutes later.
