MILDURA Lawn Tennis Club is providing free court access on Wednesday evenings during March.
Free court hire will be available every Wednesday in March between 5.30pm and 7.30pm.
Tennis racquets and balls will be available for anybody who does not have them.
Mildura Lawn Tennis Club coach Bill Madafferi the club was trying to remove the common obstacles that prevent people from getting on the court to have a hit.
“As tennis people, our job is to give everyone an opportunity to play,” Madafferi said.
“Then they can make up their own mind whether they like it or not.”
Madareri encouraged curious first-timers to come along and have a hit.
“It’s a very social game and you can play at any level,” he said.
“You don’t have to be a superstar to have a good time.”
