WINTER tennis will go ahead as planned despite an increase in coronavrius cases in Victoria.

The Sunraysia District Tennis Association (SDTA) has confirmed matches will start on July 11 in all junior and senior grades.

There had been some concerns community sport may be affected by the recent increase in COVID-19 cases, but SDTA officials have been given the all-clear to start the season.
