THE State Government will provide $250,000 in funding to Murray Regional Tourism to help create jobs and stimulate local economies in northern Victoria.
The Revitalising Murray Regional Tourism project aims to reactivate the visitor economy through river cruising, consumer research and accommodation diversification.
“We are working hard to ensure our region has the support they need to move beyond the challenges of this pandemic – and thrive into the future, helping to make it an even better place to live, work, visit and invest,” Member for Northern Victoria Mark Gepp said.
“This investment will enable Murray Regional Tourism Board to have the resources they need to help move forward and respond quickly to the impacts of the past year.”
