MILDURA Settlers ensured more silverware would be heading back to Mildura Senior College with an eight-wicket win over Nichols Point Green on Friday night in the SCA women’s grand final.
On a night that favoured the bowlers, Settlers were able to hold the Pointers to 7-68, never quite enough, and then ease their way to a win after 16 overs.
Player of the match Shania McKinnon starred, with 1/8 from her four overs before a measured 26 not out to guide her team 2/71.
