Kelly, McLean hit form at Red Cliffs

TROY Kelly won his third consecutive Red Cliffs Lawn Tennis Club Annual Tournament men’s championship singles on Saturday.

Kelly, 20, defeated Bill Madafferi 8-5 in the final while Paige McLean was the winner of the ladies’ championship, finishing 24/7 over Letecia Ellis (18/18).

Red Cliffs Lawn Tennis Club president Gavin Lynch hailed the rescheduled event – moved from the Australia Day weekend to this past weekend due to heat – a success.
