Magpies might shows

MERBEIN warned the SFNL A Grade competition not to forget about them following an impressive two-goal victory over South Mildura at Mildura Sporting Precinct.

Somewhat ideally while wearing black and white, Johannah and Emily Gray played pivotal roles in the Magpies’ 32-30 victory against a side that pipped them for finals last year.

A Grade debutant Tameika Sherlock also enjoyed a strong first showing in the top grade.

The consistent Tayla Sellens and attacker Georgia Chase featured in South’s better players.

Both sides have tough follow up games with Merbein facing Mildura and South up against Ouyen United this week.
