Nangiloc to play Bambill in thrilling final round

THE race for the Millewa A Grade netball minor premiership is set for a thrilling final-round conclusion when Nangiloc travel to Mildura Senior College to play Bambill this weekend.

Both the top-placed Demons and second-placed Saints had impressive wins on Saturday to set up a mouthwatering clash to close out the regular season.

Nangiloc are on 48 points and Bambill on 46, while Werrimull are back in third on 40 points.

Gol Gol round out the top four, but they are well back on 18 points.

The Hawks put up a good fight against Werrimull, but eventually fell 62-45 on Saturday.

Aislinn Campbell, Rachel Thomas and Maddison Maher led the way in the Magpies’ victory.
