No.25: Jazmin Parker (Red Cliffs)

Jazmin Parker wasted no time in showing she was a shooter on the rise this season. She was chosen as the round 1 Netballer of the Week after a strong performance in the Tigers’ draw with Imperials. The 18-year-old uses her body well to position herself in the ring. She continues to impress despite her team’s winless campaign so far.

No.24: Emily Gray (Merbein)

Previously a wing attack, Emily has not only an accurate eye that helps drive up her team’s score, but the speed and agility to move fast around her opponents. Featured four times in the Pies’ best, the goal attack has been an important player for Merbein this season. Playing with two of her sisters, the girls are able to understand each other well on the court.

No.23: Sophie Gray (Merbein)

Sophie Gray has established her self as a strong centre player who can orchestrate plays to deliver the ball into her team’s attack. She is young, but fast and moves well up and down the court. She has been listed as her team’s best four times after dominating in the early rounds of the season.

No.21: Jacqulyn Bell (Red Cliffs)

No.20: Molly Mangan (Wentworth)

Last year’s grand final best-on-court, Mangan has continued to be an important player for the Roos at wing attack this season. She is precise with her ball use and has great decision-making skills. Molly also keeps a steady head under pressure.

No.19: Ashlee Cameron (Wentworth)

Ash hit a purple patch between rounds 8-11, named among the best players in the formidable Roos line-up. With speed to burn and good hands at wing defence, she has slotted into the Roos’ machine well. She will be an important role player in the Roos’ flag defence.

No.18: Tayla Sellens (South Mildura)

Joined by a number of new players this year, Tayla Sellens has remained a consistent and speedy player on the court for the Bulldogs at centre. Consistently named among her side’s best players, she will be a key bog in the third-placed Bulldogs’ push for a flag.

No.17: Johannah Gray (Merbein)

The round 6 Player of the Week, another one of the Gray sisters, is a fierce and talented defender. A good reader of play who intercepts well, Johannah works well alongside newcomer Sophie Kroehn to slow the Pies’ opponents.

No.16: Tsharni Burns (Ouyen United)

Tsharni Burns, a hard nut in defence, has been named in the league’s team of the year several times. She has missed a few games this season, but is returning to her best. She is an important presence to the Kangas. Her return to the line-up helped spark the team’s mid-season resurgence.
