Ouyen United’s 2022 Grand Final line-up:

Co-coach Casey Crothers (GS):

Tall and tough defender. Uses her height effectively under the ring but can out-position to stay in front.

Esther Manley (GA):

Impressive player, rising to the challenge each week. Brings a defender’s mindset to her midcourt pressure.

Ellen Morrish (WA):

Lightning fast player, her movement style mimics her midcourt teacher and coach. Makes others look slow in comparison.

Co-coach Kyra Nathan (C):

The architect of the side. Always thinks a step ahead and creates the play. Intimidating, experienced and smart.

Megan Jardine (WD):

Gives her all and always backs her teammates. A fast, team player who leaves nothing on the court.

Catherine Brown (GD):

Truly unmatchable work rate, fast on her feet. Everything she does is calculated and deliberate.

Tsharni Burns (GK):

Gives each game everything. Reads the all beautifully with timing and reach. A real presence to be seen and heard.

Tayla Willsmore:

This year’s SFNL GA of the year, she is effective and influential, even from the bench after suffering an injury. Her hard work helped the team earn their grand final spot.

Holly Mazza:

Tall player, who uses her big mitts to the team’s advantage in goals. Positions and rebounds well.

Alizah Parsons:

A good target in goals. Her positioning in the ring can be unstoppable.

Caitlin Vine:

A versatile defender who oozes positivity and true Kangas spirit. Lifts everyone around her.

Caitlyn Rampling:

Relentless in defence with eyes and aggression for the ball. Tough and determined.
