THE Mildura Netball Association (MNA) will hold a senior competition for the first time since COVID-19 restrictions were imposed.
MNA competition is set to start from February 2, with the association hoping to attract senior teams from other competitions – including football/netball clubs – as well as seeing the return of senior teams from previous years. As well as senior competition, grades will also be offered across under 17, 15, 13, 11 and nine.
The season will start on February 2 for under 13, 15 and 17, February 3 for seniors, and February 6 for under nine and 11.
The MNA is running the under nine and 11 competitions in Term One as a new initiative. These grades are normally only held in Term Four for twilight netball.
All teams must supply an umpire, who will umpire their own game. Registration fees will be $50 for all junior teams and $100 per team for seniors. Registration by January 29 will be via email.
