Netball’s best hit court for grand final

A HOST of the Sunraysia Daily SFNL A Grade Netball Team Of The Year members will be in action for Saturday’s grand final between Wentworth and Ouyen United.

Kangas coaches Kyra Nathan and Casey Crothers head the squad, with 2019 Horkings medallist Nathan taking her familiar spot in the centre.
Dependable defender Tsharni Burns holds the goalkeeper position after a strong year with the Kangas – who are out to make history with their first A Grade netball premiership.

Minor premiers Wentworth did not have a player selected to start on the court, however their coach Amanda Edwards is the sub-
goalie, while Christie Becker is sub midcourt.

Irymple, who finished third after going down to Ouyen United in last weekend’s preliminary final, are represented by Stephanie O’Loughlin in goal shooter and Belinda Ryan in goal defence.

Fellow top four side South Mildura has Demi Toms and Demalza Henry in goal and wing attack respectively and Maddison Toms in wing defence.

Kalo Moi Moi of Imperials, named as the sub defender, is the only team member not from a club inside the 2019 top four.
