Callahan, Carusella tie for Millewa Dot Wilson Trophy

WERRIMULL’S Alison Callahan and Nangiloc’s Katherene Carusella have tied for this year’s Dot Wilson Trophy for the A grade best and fairest honours in the Millewa Netball Association.

In an exciting count held at the Working Man’s Club on Wednesday night, neither player could be separated at the completion of counting.

Both players will be hoping to continue their great form into this weekend when they clash in the grand final at Lake Cullulleraine.

Callahan dominated all season in her role in front of goal as the Pies goal attack while Carusella was a star for the Demons playing as a centre.

Bambill’s Tessa Houkamau was runner-up In A reserve it was another win for Werrimull with Audrey Delahunty claiming top honours from Gol Gol’s Kiara Noter.
