THE challenge for Sunraysia Football Netball League seniors grand-finalist Wentworth to go one better this year has been made harder with Jarrod Brander to miss the season due to injury.

The star forward will undergo surgery today after sustaining a lisfranc injury to his foot on Saturday playing for Southern Districts in the Northern Territory Football League.
