A COLLECTIVE roar nearly lifted the roof from the Heathcote household in Mildura on Thursday night, as they witnessed their greyhound Morton collect the biggest win of his young career.

The stud runner burst away to a five-and-a-half-length win at Brisbane's Albion Park in the Group 2 Queensland Derby final, securing a $75,000 payday in the process.
