MILDURA and District Little Athletics is aiming to be even bigger and better following a stellar season last summer.

About 220 athletes took part in a brilliant previous season which culminated in the centre being awarded the Country Centre of the Year by South Australia Little Athletics.

The new season begins this Sunday and there are hopes numbers could even climb further.
