MILDURA Settlers young gun Monty Maloney impressed with the bat for Mallee Murray Suns during their Under 16 Boys Youth Premier League campaign.

The 16-year-old finished the series with 199 runs at an average of 33.17 at the top of the order, including an unbeaten 85, as the side battled the best in Victoria.
