LOCAL baseballer Blake Peterson has been selected to play in US tournament alongside 15 others in an Australian all stars team.

The US tournament is in Florida this September, and Blake said he felt "just lucky" to be selected from every state team in the country and one from New Zealand. The sixteen-year-old was chosen after his performance in a Gold Coast tournament earlier this year.
