FORMER Ouyen United wingman Kyle Monaghan has achieved an outstanding result in his first marathon.

Monaghan, who is the physical education/health and sport coordinator at Melbourne Girls' College, recorded a time of two hours and 59 minutes in the Great Ocean Road Run, held recently.
