THIRTEEN Mildura District Little Athletics competitors grabbed their chance to shine this month, winning a huge haul of medals at the South Australian State Individual Championships.

Competitors from Mildura beat some of SA's best Little Athletics competitors at the two-day event and won five gold medals, eight silver medals and five bronze medals over the championship weekend.
