IT was a case of better late than never for the Mildura and District Little Athletics Centre (MDLAC) to celebrate a half-century.

The Sunraysia athletics club reached its 50 year milestone in 2020, however due to various restrictions, and trying to find a subsequent date that worked, it was incorporated into the 2021-22 mid-season break.
