RILEY Payne believes his ground game can come to the fore as he makes his professional mixed martial arts (MMA) debut next week.

The 26-year-old, who has a 2-1 amateur record, will realise a long-term goal when he comes up against experienced kickboxer Roy 'Warbred' Armisted as part of the Bushido MMA Fight Night next Saturday at the Thornbury Theatre.
