ROBINVALE Euston president Phil Lamattina isn’t frightened to express his feelings. Twelve months into the job, Lamattina has been embroiled in his fair share of controversy, but he never shies away from a challenge. His club was the first to officially withdraw from the 2020 SFNL season and he stands by his decision. This week he sat down with Sunraysia Daily’s HEATH KENDALL to talk about his leadership style, his sometimes fractured relationship with the league board and what he thinks needs to be done to improve football in Sunraysia.

You have been in the chair now for over 12 months, how have you found the challenge?
