Big City win over Three Colours

A DOMENIC Ghidinelli hattrick and braces from Brandon Pollifrone and Nicholas Woods anchored Mildura City’s eight-goal to nil win over Three Colours in senior men’s Sunraysia football action last Sunday.

Three Colours challenging year looked like it was turning in the first 45, with both sides going scoreless.

When play resumed City dropped the hammer and slammed home eight unanswered goals in 21 minute clinic.

In the other game Irymple Knights took out a 3-1 victory over Mildura United.

All the damage in that game was done in the first 30 minutes with Kieren Burrows putting home two and Jordan Cox one for Knights, while Viet Thuat Trinh had the loan marker in response for United.

Both wins keep City and Knights on top of the senior men’s table even on point and separated only by a goal difference of two.

There will be no play his week due to school holidays.A night game on Friday, July 12, will be played between Nichols Point and Irymple Knights in the senior women and the Under 13 girls teams.
