FOUR junior girls from Mildura have been accepted to play soccer in the SA League.
Neve Tingey, Mackenzie Holy, Maia Gowers and Natalie Prictor are all setting their sights on Fulham United in Adelaide’s western suburbs, while Caitlyn Szapla is heading to the Adelaide Jaguars.
These junior girls have shown great potential on the soccer field.
Through their commitment, hard work and passion for the sport, they have caught the attention of scouts and selectors, leading to their acceptance into the SA League.
Nichols Point Under 16 girls’ coach Jason Gowers said it opened new opportunities for the girls.
“Playing for a metro club exposes them to a higher level of coaching, training facilities and competitive matches,” he said.
“The experience of competing against talented players from different backgrounds will enhance their skills, broaden their soccer knowledge, and contribute to their growth as players.
“Additionally, being part of a metro club provides exposure to a broader network of opportunities, such as potential pathways to state and national-level teams.”
