Taj in great form for Bulldogs

TAJ Stevens has been in fine form for the South Mildura Bulldogs this season.

While the team has gone winless after 12 rounds in the SFNL season, Stevens has stood tall in the midfield, not shirking the contest.

The youngster has also been playing for the Bendigo Pioneers in the Under-18 NAB League, where he has been thriving under the guidance of Danny O’Bree.

“This is a great program. It allows you to get the best out of yourself and aims to set you up for bigger things,” Stevens said.

“I’ve found my game really improve this year. I played most of my footy last year in the seniors, which was good. But when you come into a program like this, it becomes a lot more professional and you learn much more.”

As the SFNL round 12 Rising Star winner, Taj receives $50 from Mildura & District Real Estate, 62-64 Commercial Street, Merbein.
