Celebration time for Robinvale Euston Football Netball Club

SPORTING clubs across Sunraysia are thrilled to be hosting their annual mid-year events after many postponements due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Robinvale Euston Football Netball Club’s mid-year cocktail night was a hit last weekend, with more than 150 party-goers kicking up their heels and dancing the night away.

South Mildura Sporting Club will host its mid-year ball tonight, with president Kevin Burke saying players and supporters are looking forward to a great night.

“It’s going to be one of our last functions at Sarah Oval before we make the move to the new (sporting) precinct, so we’re hoping it will be a great night for everyone,” he said.

“We’ve had to postpone it a couple of times now and I imagine a few other clubs have had to do the same thing.

“It’s just nice to be able to get together, celebrate the club and have a good night.”
