Footballer of the week: Andrews hitting form at right time

WENTWORTH favourite Colin Andrews has started to hit his straps in recent weeks, coinciding with his team’s run of form.

The veteran Roo has been among his side’s best in their wins over Red Cliffs, Ouyen United (when he was best on ground and kicked five goals) and then at the weekend against South Mildura in consecutive weeks – much to the delight of coach Sam Curran.

“He’s certainly playing to his expectations I guess, people expect him to be pretty good and he’s starting to show that,” Curran said.
