THE long road to recovery has begun for Imperials coach Adam Hartlett.
Hartlett underwent surgery in Adelaide last Tuesday to repair his right Achilles tendon, which he injured against Merbein in round 8.
He will spend at least the next six weeks wearing a moon boot, before starting rehabilitation.
