Green light: Imps system cranks up

IMPERIALS sounded an ominous warning to opposition clubs with a 66-point win over a disappointing Red Cliffs at City Oval on ­Saturday.

After a slow start the green and white machine got going, piling on 18 goals in the final three quarters to eclipse the Tigers.

Red Cliffs started brilliantly and, kicking with a strong breeze, slammed on five first- quarter goals, holding Imps to just two behinds.
