Beaten Tigers put in lock down

RED Cliffs coach Brian Fenton locked his players away for almost an hour after Saturday’s 11-goal loss to Imperials at City Oval.

There was no ranting or raving, but there was plenty of soul searching. Fenton is a quietly spoken and measured coach but his disappointment after his team’s loss was obvious.

Leading at quarter time by 31 points they coughed it up in the final three terms, adding just four more majors as they capitulated to a 66-point loss.
