Tiger feat: Courtney Wakefield signs contract with Richmond’s AFLW side

FROM Top Hut Station to the big time, Courtney Wakefield has finally made it.

The 32-year-old officially sent her contract back to Richmond yesterday and became the ninth AFLW Tiger signed for their inaugural 2020 season.

Wakefield, a 2016 SFNL A Grade netball premiership player with Wentworth before the AFLW even existed, became the first Richmond player to graduate from their VFLW team to the AFLW side.
