Imperials had 17 players who had come through their junior program in their Senior side in the opening round of the Sunraysia Football Netball League (SFNL).
It’s testament to the strong junior program Imperials have in place, but despite this they are one of a number of clubs struggling to fill sides each weekend at junior level.
Former senior premiership star and current Under 18s coach Tony Hickey said player numbers were an ongoing issue.
