IT is difficult to read anything into pre-season form, but Imperials’ performance against Ouyen United on Saturday in the Sunraysia Football Netball League’s pre-season competition was an ominous sign for opposition clubs.
The hype surrounding Imperials has been growing throughout the off-season and Saturday’s dominant display against the Kangas at George Gordon Oval did nothing to dampen expectations.
Fielding almost a full list, the green-and-white machine was far too strong for the Kangas, who were missing a number of key players.
