OUYEN United haven’t given up hope of retaining star Darwin trio Dean Staunton and Josiah and Will Farrer.
Although all three indicated after this year’s Sunraysia Football Netball League (SFNL) grand final win over Irymple they were unlikely to return for another season, club officials haven’t completely ruled them out for 2019.
Head of recruiting Jarrod Munro confirmed they had not 100 per cent given up on them returning to help the Kangas defend their 2018 premiership.
