Still waiting: Sunraysia region denied AFL pre-season game again

MILDURA’S wait for an AFL pre-season match to return to the region will enter a 12th year.

The AFL yesterday released its JLT Community Series fixture, with Shepparton, Ballarat and Morwell the only regional Victorian venues making the cut.

Sunraysia hasn’t hosted a pre-season contest since 2007, when Richmond and Collingwood played at Quandong Park in Red Cliffs.
