Brad Hards stays at Imperials

IMPERIALS star Brad Hards will become the club’s new director of football after ending weeks of speculation by confirming he would remain at City Oval next season.

Hards informed club officials of his decision on Saturday after weighing up a number of offers from Sunraysia Football Netball League (SFNL) rivals and also Millewa Football League teams all desperate for his services.

The talented midfielder had sent the local football community rumour mill into over-drive when it was revealed he was seriously considering a move to continue his coaching career after Imperials did not offer him an extension on his contract at the end of last season.
