SOUTH Mildura’s Demi Toms says she was shocked to win the best-on-court medal after her side’s thrilling 53-51 win over Merbein in the A Grade SFNL netball grand final on Saturday.
After an intense match, the imposing attacking player was selected as the best player of the game and was all smiles but lost for words after the final siren.
“It’s pretty surreal to be honest, I was not expecting that at all,” Toms said.
