Mitch Davison on mend

FOUR days in hospital, 13 stitches and a “sore head” hasn’t dampened Wentworth’s Mitch Davison’s passion for football.

Davison was involved in a sickening collision with Red Cliffs’ co-coach Brian Fenton last weekend and was flown to the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne where he spent four days undergoing a variety of tests.

He was given the all-clear Monday and flew home to Mildura on Tuesday, but will miss his side’s final-round match against Merbein at George Gordon Oval, Dareton, today.
