No joy for Sunraysia

SUNRAYSIA went winless at this week’s Bendigo Pioneers Under 15 Regional Carnival, outmatched by more physical opponents.

The local side were beaten by 93 points by Goulburn Murray at Irymple on Tuesday before pushing the Central Victorian Gold and Blue sides at Dareton on Wednesday (falling by 22 points) and Red Cliffs on  Thursday (a 26-point loss).

AFL Sunraysia football development manager Trevor Ryan said the 2018 crop of players was physically smaller than previous groups.
