Richmond focused on 2018 AFL premiership tilt

RICHMOND general manager of football Neil Balme says the Tigers are completely focused on 2018 as they mount their assault on the back half of the AFL season.

Backing up from a sensational second half of 2017 that resulted in Richmond claiming their first premiership since 1980, the Tigers sit atop the AFL ladder with 11 wins and just three losses going into tonight’s grand final rematch with Adelaide, two wins ahead of where they were this time last year.

“If you look at where we were this year compared to last year, purely, we’ve had a lot better form, but our form in the second half of last year was pretty dominant,” Balme said.
