Against Ouyen United last weekend, Gill (pictured) faced the prospect of taking on former AFL ruck Mark Jamar.
Though it didn’t quite follow the promoter’s script – Jamar spent the second half in the forward line due to calf tightness – Gill put in yet another best-on-ground performance for his side. He earned praise for his ruck work and marking around the ground.
