Tiger hunt: Richmond eye Sunraysia talent for AFLW pipeline

RICHMOND AFL Women’s football operations manager Kate Sheahan says investing in country regions is vital for the future of the game.

Richmond will hold a girls’ talent day on Wednesday at the George Gordon Oval from 1.30pm-2.30pm in conjunction with AFL Sunraysia and the Bendigo Pioneers for players aged 14 and over.

“These are, if anything, the most important days, every football club should be looking towards the future for their talent,” Sheahan said.
