Sam Kerridge leading by example at Carlton

FORMER Mildura junior Sam Kerridge says he tries to set an example for the young players at Carlton, such as South Mildura product Lochie O’Brien.

The Sunraysia exports have had a tough season with the Blues, who are sitting bottom of the AFL ladder with one win after 12 games.

Speaking to Carlton Media after the 57-point loss to Fremantle on Saturday, in which the Blues failed to score a goal in the first half, midfielder Kerridge said the senior players took responsibility for supporting the new draftees.
