Wentworth’s Jarrod Brander all set for AFL debut with West Coast Eagles

THE hard work pays off for Wentworth footballer Jarrod Brander on Friday night when he makes his AFL debut for West Coast against Sydney.

The 19-year-old first-year key forward will run out with the team he supported as a child at the Sydney Cricket Ground, with proud parents Darryl and Nicole in the stands for the momentous occasion.

“We’re excited for him and just proud of the way he’s gone about it,” Darryl said after touching down in Sydney on Thursday.
