Sunraysia football: Hahndorf recruit James Tripodi finding his feet at South Mildura

HIS recruitment to the club was a bit of a long game, but James Tripodi says he feels very welcome at South Mildura.

The South Australian recruit was nearly tempted across for the 2017 season alongside several ex-teammates from South Australian-based Hills Football League club Hahndorf but resisted, until this season.

“Obviously there were a few of the boys from SA already over there so that made it a lot easier (to move and settle in),” Tripodi, 24, said.

“They definitely sold it a bit, they were on my case at the start of last year when they all came over to come across.
